I'm still in the beginning stages of experimenting with this blog location for displaying my art. The process is good for me, as I consider fresh ways to organize and express my ideas.
And with that is a desire to distill my on-line time in ways that feel balanced, focused and satisfying.

My original blog spot started more than two years ago is:
http://wakingdream.posterous.com/
I will continue to add content there also.

I welome any comments about how you manage all the social media venues--  (blogs, FB, G+, twitter etc)  Do you stick to mainly one? Do you rotate, or do 'em all ? What influences? (mood, goals/plan, interactions etc.)

carpe diem
with love

After I had posted ~  In a lovely synchronistic way, an article popped up for me, about  the Slow web       and provided good insights about how we use our on-line time.

  1. What do I do? I struggle... ;)
Trying to wrestle two websites into shape to represent the two main influences in my life - art and Fibro. The Fibro site is getting there...my art site much less so and I struggle to keep up with social media...I miss so much stuff!
Good luck...can I subscribe via email??

  2. Sandra, I just revisited your blog and the website too- and they are wonderful! I know they represent a lot of dedication and hard work. And you've got some good results from all that wrestling. ;-)

I'm finding the social media struggle seems to be a shared experience by a lot of people. I added a link above to a really fascinating article that delves into it. I bet you would appreciate some of the insights there about the "Slow Web" approach to dealing with on-line things.

I'm still tinkering with the layout here... now where did I move that e-mail subscribing gadget that you asked about? Hmmm for now it's at the bottom, and below the comment section. ( I've heard from others that e-mail subscriptions make it easier to keep up with things)
I look forward to visiting your sites (in that new slow web way)-- I've really appreciated the skills you share, and the art that you explore.
Thanks so much Sand for being there!
