Biting my time

  1. Measured time is so human! Each minute has 60 seconds - be it candy time or bitter medicine time - how can that be accurate?

    1. It is interesting to me that different cultures experience and relate to time in very different ways. Even the being "on time" can hold a different perception.
And what about the time measures in music, oh detlef, who-drums-on-cars-and-other-objects. ;-))

I like the more fluid time with the sensory feel of seasons, and I'll offer the neighbor's dog the rest of linear time to chew up. (except even she prefered a frisbee over that clock, lol)

  2. Time is such a fascinating thing to me, as it spins and loops inward on itself...past, present, future can so quickly become future, present, past. Maybe the things we do in the present alter the past? The older I become the more eternal time seems, less linear...love this collage of moments, Sandra Lee. x

    1. I've thought about those same things, Holly-- thanks so much for the visit/sharing. I've read some of the work of Alberto Villoldo who has explored that nonlinear territory you mention. It fascinates me too, to consider other ways to look at time, and recognize different experiences with it.
